In the tiny streets and along the canals of Murano, Venice, David seeks out the maberga designs beads in the small glass workshops where artisans create brilliant, unique beads – one bead at a time. Meeting the artisans and learning their techniques, he hand selects each and every bead that will be used in our pieces. Many beads are created specifically for us as David, working with the artisans, creates color combinations and new shapes to compliment Lynn’s design style.
Back in Maberga, Lynn transforms these art beads into one of a kind jewelry. By combining the brilliant color of the Murano glass with sterling silver she has hand shaped, she creates the signature style of Maberga Designs which is both whimsical and stunningly elegant.
